If you want to get average vegetarian dishes at completely inflated prices from stupidly cheeky staff, this is the right place for you. Tofu ribs with lawnmower sauce perfect for the hungry hiker!
MoreThe staff wears masks, but if the nose is not covered, they are of little use. I left again.
MoreVery nicely located excursion restaurant. We couldn't believe it, only vegetarian and vegan options. Finally we had the right choice and not just the "obligatory salad". The mushroom ragout with potato dumplings is absolutely amazing, very, very tasty and a taste experience. Service was quick, polite, just good. We will be back definitely.
MoreTasty and cozy, but priced quite intensely.
Nice sun terrace, very attentive and friendly service. Lentil soup was too sweet, the bread tasted thawed. Potatoes with herb quark were okay, but instead of a few shredded carrots, a little greens would have been nice. All in all, far too expensive for the performance and size of the portions.
MoreTotally excessive prices. Egg cakes for € 8.80 doesn't work at all. Some home cooking wouldn't be bad either.
MoreVery friendly, competent, helpful staff. A nice place for a hiking break.
Prices like at weddings in Austria's best ski area: Radler 0.5 for 4.90 euros, little Soljanka for 5.40 euros! You ask yourself whether the elevator is defective and the Leuze have to haul everything up themselves ?! In the last few years the inn has been geared more and more towards quick money with day tourists. Simple dishes that you would expect primarily in a mountain inn are not available .... A shame ....
MoreThe view from the tower is very nice and offers a 360 ° view. We recommend. The "entry" into the tower is a voluntary donation of € 1.
MoreOnly vegetarian dishes are offered here. The food was great and the service very quick and friendly (even though it was very busy). I can definitely recommend this restaurant, but reservations are advisable when the weather is good.
MoreRelaxed atmosphere, nice service and the greatest surprise was the amazing vegetarian / vegan menu. Delicious!
MoreGreat place to recover from the climb! Delicious food (vegetarian) and the best apple juice spritzer I have ever drunk. Keep it up ?
MoreVery nice service. With the best will in the world, I can't understand why some grumble in their reviews that hikers cannot be offered vegetarian food? We are passionate hikers and were very happy about the menu and the great quality of the food in a region where, unfortunately, no one otherwise attaches great importance to a meat-free diet. We recommend!!!
MoreMy son couldn't find any food because the restaurant does NOT offer meat. Some dishes were inexplicably not delivered. Very weak restaurant.
MoreUnfortunately only vegan, not a reasonable selection. The potato casserole was good
MoreA purely vegetarian and vegan menu in a mountain inn where hungry hikers often stop ??? Really now? I've never seen anything so one-sided! Awful! The vegan Solyanka was expensive and really bad! Never again!!!!!
MoreActually a great place. Price / performance of the dishes are not correct in my opinion. Eggnog tasted like watery cheesecake, vegan Soljanka (is that Soljanka at all?) Tasted more like fake goulash soup. Too bad. But the Paffensteine in themselves are very impressive.
MoreNicely located restaurant, unfortunately at overpriced prices with a rather average quality.
MoreWe say thank you for the super nice service, who really like guests and try very hard when compared to other buildings like Lilienstein. Drinks cool and fresh, coffee a pleasure and an excellent apple strudel. If desired, instead of cream just a second scoop of ice cream. It's so easy to make guests happy. You can do it !!!! The location is great anyway! All the best for 2020! We recommend you !!!
MoreWatch out! The dishes are exceptionally large...
Good food with very large portions. Staff is friendly but a makes a stressed impression; even when only a few guests are there. One needs to pay to use the toilet, but you'll receive a voucher that can be redeemed when paying you food and/or beverage.
MoreWe were lucky on Saturday that the restaurant was open. Service was very nice and dog-friendly. Top price performance!
MoreAmazing place. Starts off as a gentle hike then becomes a steeper path and eventually turns into stairs up the side of the mountain. Went with a group of people. I was fine but it turns it is not for the "faint of heart" or "fear of heights" types :) Very vigorous climb. Simple astonished to discover, like most other inaccessible mountain sights in Saxony, that there was a Biergarten waiting for us at the top.
MoreTop.
Amazing place, food, beer, atmosphere! Great stuff!
Super cosy place. Really old house.
Toll!
Excellent food, regionally sourced, perfectly prepared. Best Schnitzel I've ever tasted.
MoreIn my life I never had such a bad service like in this restaurant. One of the waitresses is soooo unpolite and rude that was insisting in giving me something that I did not order.
MoreThe food is extremely good and organic, sesonal. Very good vegetarian dishes are available as well. After a moderate hike this is just the place to get some lumch, coffee and dessert.
MoreThank you for being with us!
We will call you back!
